THE BOX TEAM
An older sibling of five, Kevin grew up in Metro Detroit before attending Arizona State University to study Architecture and Engineering. He left a year early to be closer to his family and in 1998 accepted a job with M1/DTW, an up and coming design firm in Detroit. He worked to fabricate interiors designed by the firms’ principals and it was there that he realized this was the career path he was meant to take. Born to a family of self-made entrepreneurs Kevin decided to launch his own company BOX DESIGN INC. in 2004. BOX has been built on a customer and quality first focus. Over the last 13 years, BOX has developed strong relationships with clients across the country by providing just that – high quality design and craftsmanship at a reasonable price. These principals will guide the BOX team as we continue to work with new clients and meet future challenges.

Some of Tony's many responsibilities on the shop floor include overseeing the production branch of Boxes design process, interpreting the blueprints and orthographic drawings created by the design team, and fabricating the final products. A lifelong fan of hockey, Tony coached a youth league for nearly eleven years and now plays in a competitive adult hockey league outside of work.
Duraid is the senior most member of the team with more than 4 years of experience at Box. John never saw himself as a builder. Which is humorous considering at no point in his adult life, has he had a time free of an ongoing building project. Since 1995 he has been a specialist in servicing and rebuilding/refurbishing antique Pool and Billiard tables. Having spent years as a professional Chef and a Bartender/Manager in Detroit nightclubs, Box Founder Kevin Kuza convinced him to realize his true passion for creating and building. John has been a Box employee for 2 years, and an integral member of the team.
